The Everest Base camp trek is probably one of the most famous in the world. It takes you to the heart of the Nepalese Himalayas, with magnificent views of many of the highest mountains and most beautiful in the world. The name Everest is magical in itself. Everest (8848m.) is called “Sagarmatha” in Nepali – “Higher than the Sky” and “CHHOMOLUNGMA” in Tibetan – “Mother-Goddess of the Earth”. The fastest and easiest way to reach this region is to take a flight to Lukla was 2827 m.
Mount Everest in the region of Solu Khumbu is the second most popular area for trekking in Nepal. It would probably be the most popular destination, but it is a bit more expensive and difficult to view in elevation than the walking area of Annapurna. To approach the Everest, you have to walk for a week or fly to Lukla, an airstrip in remote mountain. The Solu Khumbu is justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain (8848m.), but also for its Sherpa illages and monasteries. The nominal target of a trek in The Everest Base Camp of Everest, at an altitude of about 5340m. You can not see Everest from base camp, that is why most hikers climb the Kala Patthar, 5545m has a bump on the southern flank of Pumori (7145m.). From Kala Patthar you have a spectacular view of Everest.
